Wow!  What an absolutely amazing wedding! It began Friday afternoon when we checked into the Dearborn Inn and hurried off to rehearsal at St. Anne’s followed by a Mexican Feast, complete with mariachi band, at Los Galenes in Mexican Town.  Saturday morning began early with filming of hair, makeup and all the other pre-ceremony preparations of both Lauren & Jake.  Historic St. Anne’s Church is probably the most beautiful church in Detroit and provided a memorable setting for the poignant exchanging of vows. After the ceremony, it was off to the Riverfront for pictures and video in some unique and visually stimulating locations.  Photographers, Samantha and Brian from ” A Thousand Words” were amazing to work with- we got great footage, despite some challenging weather conditions, Lauren & Jake were real troopers and we had alot of fun.  The reception at the Dearborn Inn began with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres followed by an exquisite dinner and exciting evening complete with, but not limited to, a live band, dancing waiters, confetti canons, a cigar roller, a sweets station and a martini luge in the shape of an airplane!  The next morning overnight guests were treated to a luscious brunch before heading on their way. It was spectacular wedding in every way and the florals and decorations by A Creations were absolutely exquisite!  Thank you Lauren, Jake and Larry for the privilege of sharing in and preserving forever, for you, this celebration.

We began the day at Danielle’s house for all the pre-ceremony preparations and where the country setting on this beautiful October day led to some wonderful video.   Then it was off to the historic All Saints Angelical Chapel in Howell.  The bride and groom made a beautiful couple and the afternoon autumn sunlight added a beautiful glow to their ceremony.  A quick trip to the Mill Pond and a stop at Scott’s house for some video and pictures with their dog preceded their arrival at Genoa Woods!  The reception was both unique and entertaining with the dads’ hilarious floor show and Scott’s induction into the Myer Red Suspender Club.   Danielle and Scott, as well as their families, were engaging and ever so much fun to work with.  We thank them for letting us be a part of their day.
